Central
West Saskatchewan starts on the south with the great Diefenbaker
Lake. The lake is a large water reservoir related entirely to
the South Saskatchewan River. The area of Central West Saskatchewan
covers the rich farmlands beginning at the Alberta border all
the way to east of Saskatoon. Saskatoon is the natural Capital
of the Central West Region. It is a second largest City in Saskatchewan
with rich cultural and academic life. On the north the Central
West Regions goes to the Town of North Battlefort and just below
Lloydminster. The main resource of this region is agriculture,
some oil and gas and the great Diefenbaker Lake.
