The
City of Prince George is called as "BC's Northern Capital".
The Area stretches from the Kamloops region on the south, east to
Alberta border, north to above Port St. John and west to Fort St.
James. The Prince George area is a vast wilderness with a few main
rivers, large and still wild lakes and two major Highways. In the
past Prince George and a few other places were just a fur trading
posts. With Time they grow up to be a City or Town of the Northern
BC. The railway to Prince George and the region was build in 1903
and that was the beginning of the rapid development of this area.
Today here is the wood industry, power generating facilities and
heaven for dedicated tourists.
