South
Mountains is the area along Trans Canada Highway, between the Foothills
and the border with British Columbia. It covers most of Banff National
Park. Excellent communication links with Calgary makes this area

year around. South Mountain Area starts around 100 km going west
from Calgary, on Trans Canada Highway. After passing the junction
