Site is about Alberta Irrigation System. It is not how the efficient
system works but what visual impact the irrigation network makes
on the environment of Alberta. The Irrigation System is one of man
made wonders of this Province.

Irrigation System is the "distributing" part
of the network. The water from the reservoirs is taken by the network
of canals and is distributed according to the law of gravity and
Irrigation By Law to the farming communities. Water management is
the subject of Provincial regulations.

West
Irrigation System is where the water from the Rocky Mountains
is being collected. Every river or stream of any meaning is crossed
by dam and the water is save in a reservoir for future use. Some
distribution takes place along and next to the east slope of the
Foothills.
