Lakeland and Cold Lake area stretches from the Town of Lac La Biche to the Saskatchewan border directly north of Edmonton. This is the area of agricultural activities on the south changing steadily into forestry and lakes the more north you go. The lakes are the greatest treasure of Lakeland and Cold Lake Area. They are the base for fishing, boating and any kind of water related recreation. Cold Lake is the place for one of largest inland marinas in Canada . There are a few Provincial Parks around Cold Lake. Lac La Biche is a compose picture on many ethnic communities melted into one pot called Lac La Biche.
