Drumheller
Valley is the famed Valley of the Dinusaurs, the home of the World
famous dinosaurs skeleton findings, and affords us a glimpse back
in time millions of years ago. The Valley was carved by a melting
glacier some 12000-15000 years ago. In late 1880th, Drumheller Valley
become coal mining region, supplying fossil fuel to the growing
Canadian economy. During the coal explorating era, some dinosaurs
bones were discover, and Drumheller become establish as a Dinosaurs
Valley. The place to visit is the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Beside the
Museum, the Valley is found to be interesting by many tourists,
and is well worth a visit. Other places of interest are the last
line powered ferry in the north-west of the Valley, and the Astoria
coal mine.
