The Drumheller Area is the sub-region northeast
of the City of Calgary. It is mostly prairie and flat land, but
with many twists on the way to Drumheller. There are picturesque
hills and valleys, many streams and small rivers, large wheat production
fields, corn, granola and dairy farms. In the middle of the land,
hidden from view is Drumheller Valley, the place of World famous
dinosaurs bone findings and a link in the Jurassic Era. Center
of paleontological research in this region is Royal Tyrrel Museum
in Drumheller. The entire Drumheller Valley is filled with old
and recent history. Come with us and we'll show you around to places
of interest, or take a ride along the whole 50 kilometers long
Valley and the attractions along the route.
