The
Town of Peace River was created as the communication hub of the
north west Alberta. The Town is located at the cross road of
the magnificent Peace River, the land road to the north and later
on the railroad. Build as a trading post and supply center today's
Peace River is a gate to the north of Alberta and British Columbia.
The area of Peace River is mostly agriculture and oil and gas
exploration region. If you add to this a few Provincial Parks
and Historical Sites, you will find this area a beautiful
place to live or visit but also rich and prosperous. Take your
time when you visit here and drive around to get to know
the peaceful life of the northern Alberta. From here you can
drive to Lesser Slave Lake, Grand Prairie or the North
